Making the Most Out of City Center Hotel Shoots
Situated in the heart of downtown, the newly redesigned and incredibly chic Sheraton Phoenix Downtown is ideal for both work and relaxation. From inviting communal spaces suitable for business travelers, to the thoughtfully crafted menu at their Sonoran-inspired restaurant, Carcara, our goal was to capture “bleisure” travel (a mix of business and leisure) both onsite at the hotel and offsite at nearby hot spots.
This shoot was unique in that we cast a set of six models who worked both as friends, business colleagues, and a family unit. Over two days, we captured a mix of family-specific moments in the guest rooms and at the pool, balanced with getaway elements essential to adult travelers—dining, connecting, and exploring the local area. Working with local breweries, restaurants, museums, and concert venues, while challenging, was certainly worth the effort to showcase local businesses and complete the experience of staying downtown.
