Breathtaking Views Meet the Spirit of Adventure at Hyatt Carmel Highlands

Tucked away in one of California’s most charming coastal towns, Hyatt Carmel Highlands has welcomed guests since 1917. Long considered one of the coast’s best-kept secrets, this historic retreat pairs breathtaking Pacific views with a storied legacy as a destination for artists, writers, and travelers drawn to Carmel’s natural beauty.

The property is home to two Hyatt experiences: Hyatt Carmel Highlands, a Destination by Hyatt property, and Hyatt Vacation Club at Highlands Inn. For this shoot, our focus was Destination by Hyatt, a brand known for hotels and resorts that reflect the diversity, character, and spirit of their surroundings.

That destination-forward story gave us room to go beyond the property, highlighting nearby icons such as Point Lobos, Carmel Beach, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and Bixby Bridge. Through thoughtful pre-production, permitting, and local coordination, we paired the property’s historic coastal character with the beauty and adventure surrounding it.
